A using Driver Affects Everyone On The Road!!!!

 

Chalk Talks for the using Driver (CTUD) is an opportunity for individual to learn the importance of making responsible decisions.

 

Chalk Talks is designed for the first time DWI offender, or person who could benefit from a learning experience to prevent chemical use problems.

 

Chalk Talks conducted by trained professional, is an active learning experience in which participates become highly involved through exercise.

 

Chalk Talks exercises center around determining ways to stop using and driving. Each client is tested before and after the course to measure cognitive gains. Course content evaluation is done on an ongoing basis.

 

Chalk Talks Enrollment Procedure

Simply call 612-874-9811 and ask to be scheduled. Classes are held in convenient Twin Cities Locations each month. CREATE offers both evening and Saturday classes.

 

Issues covered in Chalk Talk include:

-Minnesota drinking diver statues, procedure, and probations conditions

  Short and long term effects of chemical use

-Present and future cost of DWI

-Chemical dependency warning signs

-Treatment options

-Written self-protection plans

-Use alternatives

 

Client must bring the class fee to the first session in order to be admitted to class. After attending and paying for the class, the client receives a completion card for use of validation of attendance.
