Intensive Outpatient Treatment IOP (Workhouse)
Our intensive outpatient services (IOP) gives you a low cost treatment program in the structured environment of the Hennepin County Adult Correctional Facility (AFC).
This program is designed to help the client examine thinking behaviors, which led to poor chemical health.
This program facilities education and treatment addressing new chronic issues when time is available and other distractions are limited.
Our IOP program includes:
-Cognitive and behavioral chemical health treatment inside the walls of AFC
-A fresh, exciting approach to substance abuse challenges emphasizing solutions,
thinking skills, behavioral practice and improvement decision-making
- Professional care over five or six weeks
- Personalized individual treatment planning
- Future oriented-what happens after release...working individually with the client
developing their plan for after their release
-Professionally staffed aftercare in the community
This is a practical, abstinence based program that offers a fresh look at chemical health issues. It helps people to work towards healthier, more constructive lifestyles.
The client:
-Has identifiable substance abuse challenges
- Fits criteria for referral and funding to outpatient treatment
-Will be incarcerated at ACF long enough to complete the primary IOP program.
